Some people get a tattoo for political, social, religious or even sexual reasons. Some people get a tattoo because they're drunk. Some people get a tattoo because they think a little red devil on the arse will pull the chicks... Chicks dig the Ink... Supposedly.

I've got them because... ehm... I like them... that's it... nothing deep or cosmic... cant really put a finger on it... I suppose I just like the colours.

My tattoo has been artfully applied by Eddie Yeary of Cherrybomb Tattoo in Roanoke, Virginia USA. He's a bit mad but a decent bloke, considering he's a Yank and says things like "Hey Yaaall".  He's the scary looking bloke in the video.

Back in 2002 during the first sitting for the sleeve (eight hours of pure enjoyment!) the whole tattoo thing was new... but... the tattoo has evolved since then.... it's now a 3/4 sleeve and I still haven't decided where it's going to end.. maybe I'll end up blue all over   ;)

April 2007 - OK. Been watching that damn MIAMI INK series on Discovery. Bloody excellent!
It's got me back into the needle frame of mind so I'm trying to figure out what to lay on me next... finish the sleeve or start a whole new tattoo somewhere else.

I found these couple of designs while trawling the net and am going to try and incorporate them into something in next month or so.

1. A permanent mark or design made on the skin by a process of pricking and ingraining an indelible pigment or by raising scars.
2. A design made on the skin with a temporary dye such as henna or ink.
